Functional Movement: What's in it for me?

Ever
driven your car with your one tire 10-15 psi less than the rest? What
happens? Car shakes at higher speeds, lower gas mileage but more
importantly it increases the risk of having to bring it to the shop for
repairs!
Same
goes for our bodies. If we don’t have balance or symmetry between our
left and right sides of our body, we will likely not be able to workout
as efficiently, fatigue more quickly and more importantly hurry the
process of injury and possibly surgery!
To
find out what your baseline is to recognize what left/right imbalances
you may or may not have, it’s prudent to get screened. By having a
qualified trainer conduct a brief Functional Movement Screening (FMS,)
you and the trainer will be able to pin point your body’s weakest link.
This will allow for insightful, systematic exercise programming versus
just guessing what you think you need or what you’ve heard helps other
people.
This free screening takes 10-15 minutes and can get you a higher return on investment with your training with less time taken doing your workouts!
Contact the front desk staff to set up a time that works for you.
